Though the original DLC for Fallout: New Vegas was exclusive to the Xbox for a period of time, Bethesda previously revealed that all future content would appear on all three platforms simultaneously. The patch is said to include optimization, stability improvements, some bug fixes, and weapon and balance tweaks.
Bergman says this fixes most of the crashes and lockups that have been bothering fans since launch. We do have another update planned further down the line. Bergman also apologizes for the last few months of quiet, and teases the unnamed DLC. The timing is interesting, as rumors cropped up yesterday from Duck and Cover regarding the next DLC.
They claim it will be titled "Honest Hearts," and it's possibly set to be revealed at a Bethesda event in Utah later this week. We'll have to see if that rumor pans out, but Bergman's promise of an impending DLC announcement means we're bound to see something soon. Is the first DLC any good?
I think I might put off my second playthrough until the patch hits. I want to try out a melee, throwing class!
I thought it was pretty good. I play on Very Hard and Hardcore mode. The DLC is a self-contained segment that is only tangentially related to the main game story. Emotes Icons Photomode S. Global Achievements. So I had already owned the base version of NV for a while. I just recently bought all the DLC seperately.
When I check it's properties on steam it says it has all four downloaded, but when I boot up the game it only recognizes Lone Wanderer, and when I try to download and run mods it can't detect any of the other DLC files.
Has this ever happened to anyone else? How would I be able to fix this? Note: I did buy then immediately one after another so I'm suspecting maybe I had interrupted the DLC downloads and they never finished, but since Lone wanderer was the first one to download, not the last it should of been interrupted and not the one to make it through if that was the case.
